Current Position:
Since the end of April 2019 The Inn has only been open for events due to financial constraints resulting from a lack of footfall, rising supplier costs and a huge increase in business rates.
The good news is that, after taking Local Authority and professional advice, The Inn will be reopening in early 2020 with full and regular hours, albeit with a reduced floor area and number of covers.
Why:
A reduction in the floor area and a lower number of covers (approx 30) will help to alleviate the business rate issues and, with lots of luck and faith, return The Inn to a viable operating business.
Full details of the layout (including garden area) will be issued in due course.
What’s Next:
With regards to the revised floor area and garden (including 2 rental rooms for staff accommodation), we are initially offering a 3-year Bar/Restaurant Operating Lease to the local community, for an annual sum below market value.
We very much want this business to succeed and therefore are extremely flexible in respect to the terms and conditions of the proposed Lease.
Who Should Apply:
If you have always wanted to run your own Pub/Restaurant and have an enthusiastic disposition with the talent to maintain a community Pub, but have vision to be able to bring in custom from outside the area, then please contact us to discuss this fantastic opportunity.
Should there be no interest from the local community, the Lease will be offered on the open market as a Pub/Restaurant.
