Wye Valley Producers – new Click&Collect farmers’ market: a collective of multiple award winning local food & drink producers, including Humble by Nature.

The Fountain Inn at Trellech Grange have a takeaway meal service each day of the week except Monday. Pay by debit card over the phone for a contactless service. Menu and full details here.

Newspaper deliveries: The NewsTeam Group are now delivering newspapers in this area and charge 40p per day for the service. Ring Julie Collier (0771 1007542 – pm is better) to arrange a service.
They take newspaper vouchers too and, if you register with the current Deliver My Newspaper scheme also, they will send separate vouchers which cover the delivery charge for a minimum of 6 weeks, i.e. free delivery!
Handyman House is now back to (almost) normal and open for business. Social distancing is in place and there is no longer a need to book items in advance.

Raglan Garden Centre reopens on Monday May 11. The “Raglan to your door” delivery service will continue too – pre-order by email – full details of the service are here.
The Willows Garden Centre in Usk reopens on Monday May 11 and continues with its click and collect servicey. Call 10am to 4pm (not Sundays), £25 minimum order. 01291 672669.
Millbrook Garden Centre reopens on Monday May 11 with a limit of 30 in the shop at any time. They start a delivery service on Tuesday 12th.
Castlegate Surgery can deliver your prescription if you request this by phone or leave a message on the dispensary answerphone (01600 713353) stating your name, date of birth and address & medication required. If they can’t deliver and you’re self-isolating, request help via Penallt Support Network 0115 8883090 10 am – 12 noon 7 days per week.
Trellech Surgery has a dedicated phone line and a team of volunteers delivering prescriptions throughout the area (Friday delivery to Penallt). All volunteers have enhanced DBS checks, identity cards and are known to the surgery. Please note the phone line will be manned from 10am to midday Monday to Friday on 01183 282848.

Evans of Monmouth – Katie Price writes that deliveries to Penallt will now be delivered to a central drop-off point. This will be our outbuilding at Upper Llananant on a Thursday, time to be confirmed.

Llanishen Village Shop – has just opened: 7am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 1pm weekends.
