23 October 2018 We have had some interest generated locally and from further afield. It now transpires that the owners of the property would like to sell the freehold aspect of the pub also. I was wondering whether it would be possible to put this update onto the village website as there may be some further interest locally for the business as a whole. 28th February 2018 It is with great sadness that we have made the difficult decision to put our business up for sale. To avoid rumours we have decided to inform the local community of our decision. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our regulars and locals who have supported us over the years, we greatly appreciate this support and many of you have become good friends. We are sure that this support will continue if and when new landlords take over.

We will shortly be advertising the business with a national agent but prior to this we are taking the opportunity to let any entrepreneurs amongst you show any interest in the business, if any in the locality.
