Michelin Guide

The Inn at Penallt has been listed in the latest Michelin Guide to eating out. Michelin’s Red Book 2014 was published on 29th September and lists The Inn as one of its recommended places to eat. September also saw The Inn retaining its AA rosette and four star accommodation rating.

Andrew and Jackie said “It’s terrific news – we were delighted although a little surprised when we received the confirmation letter. It’s well deserved and a terrific accolade for Peter, Lyall and Dan in the kitchen, and Sally and all our front of house staff too, all of whom are from or near the village. When we opened three and a half years ago, an AA rosette and a Michelin Guide entry were the last things on our minds.”

In the same month The Inn was awarded a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence for the second year running and recognised by Camra for its commitment to serving local ciders. As the Autumn approaches, The Inn has a number of events lined up including weekly steak and wine evenings on a Thursday, a ladies style evening and, of course, the regular Wednesday village nights.
