2016 Introduction


Firstly, and most importantly, as new owners Chris and Bronwyn would like to thank Andy and Jackie for their amazing work in turning the Inn into the successful business that it is today. We know that this transformation took a great deal of hard work and dedication over the past six years. We feel privileged to have been given this opportunity to acquire the Inn with its dedicated team in such a beautiful part of the world.

The welcome we have also received in the past month from within the village has been nothing less than wonderful and we hope that we can repay the kindness that has been shown from the outset by ensuring that the Inn remains very much an integral part of the community.

We have both come from rather different backgrounds in Major Infrastructure and Marine Law, although Bron did open and run a successful delicatessen in Cardiff for a number of years. Rest assured our aim will always be to retain the high standard of food and services already been set.

We do of course want to put our own mark on the Inn and have long term plans to include a kitchen garden to best utilise the outdoor space, including an event location and enhancing the ambience of the special location which defines the Inn at Penallt. We also strongly believe in bringing like-minded local suppliers/producers and accommodation providers together and would always welcome such alliances.

The spring and summer will bring extended opening hours and Sunday evening specials.
