Wye Flood Dec2020

The near record rain of last Wednesday (23/12/2020) had the predictable result of flooding of the Wye and the water down by The Boat was over Lone Lane again:

Fortunately, the peak did not last long and, although there was a further “hump” following Storm Bella’s downpour (26th/27th), there are currently no flood alerts for the Wye.

Natural Resources Wales have a river depth sensor in Redbrook and the trace below shows the peak of the water to be about 1.2 m below the recent record of earlier this year in February.
