Our programme for 2011 is almost complete and is summarised below. We’ve left 2 months unconfirmed to give flexibility to work round the busy schedule of a prospective speaker.
Some favourite speakers will be making return visits in 2011 – Gill Suttle will be talking about another of her unusual trips, this time a visit to the Bedouin of the Syrian Desert. Bob Trett, David Harrison and Beth Butler will be welcomed back. Roger Morgan is a new speaker to Penalt but is well known to historical groups and gave this talk to great acclaim to the Friends of the Newport Ship last year. Dr Naylor Firth is also a new speaker to us.
