A group of locals met in September to start a Local History group and there was an enthusiastic response to the idea.
At the moment it is very informal and at the October meeting (16th Oct 7.30, Pelham Hall) each of us will bring something along to the meeting that others might not know about, and we hope that not only will they say a bit to the group to explain, but that information will be written up and available through this Village web site.
It has been suggested they the group could digitise existing knowledge, have lectures/talks, go on visits and possibly do some ‘fieldwork’!
