Two of the three dog waste bins being provided by TUCC are now in place in the village. The keenly observant will have noticed that the third, sited at Croes Vane, was there for less than 24 hours before being removed again. This is because we are instead going to place it outside the Babington Meadow for users both of the meadow and the main village street.
Monmouthshire County Council are installing the bins for us at no charge, so we are just waiting for them to be able to come back with the third bin. Waste should be bagged, of course, and the bins will be emptied by a contractor at least once a fortnight. It is possible that TUCC will be able to provide some bags, but we need to work out how to do this without creating litter if they get blown about!
