A grant of up to £45000 is available to fund rural broadband in a small number of selected villages, via Monmouthshire County Council’s Axis 3 Rural Development Programme. See here for further details.
To assist with the selection of which villages will be awarded the grant, MCC is now carrying out a survey to discover where broadband problems are, the survey being similar to that we conducted within the village at the end of last year. You can find details about the MCC survey here, and there are links to the relevant online questionnaire on this page too.
Everyone who has already filled in the Penallt broadband questionnaire (and anyone else who hasn’t yet done so too) is strongly urged to complete the MCC survey before the deadline of 5pm on Friday 9th March.
