Humble By Nature Copy

In the winter of 2011, husband and wife team, Ludo Graham and Kate Humble purchased Upper Meend Farm in the village of Penallt.

Their aim was to keep it as a tenanted working farm and start a rural skills and smallholding school. This section of the website tells you more about Humble by Nature and what’s happening on the farm.

Humble by Nature

Pig and Apple

Humble by Nature is a thriving rural skills centre with a wide range of courses and events and delightful holiday accommodation. It’s also home to The Pig & Apple café (see below).

Whether you’re thinking about starting a smallholding, want to build a dry stone wall, or make sausages, try willow weaving or print making, or discover delicious wild food, a course at Humble by Nature will give you the knowledge and confidence to get started at home. All the tutors are experts in their fields and courses have small numbers to ensure personal attention and hands-on experience. See all courses by date here .
