If you’ve ever wondered if the weather in Penallt is somehow different from that in, say, Monmouth, then now’s the chance to check out the details!
We now have a wireless weather station in residential NP25 4SE whose output is linked automatically to this website so that real time readings of such things as temperature, pressure, rainfall, wind, etc are published. In addition, past records are displayed graphically by day, week, etc.
The system is based around the Davis Vantage Vue weather station, an all-in-one device which boasts a rain gauge, thermometer, anemometer and wind direction sensor, barometer and humidity gauge, all housed as shown in the image
